WHY ?

Poems

This poem (WHY)  is dedicated to three people although they are unnamed, their personalities and my relationship with them has become the muse leading to it’s writing. Each paragraph is dedicated to each of them. Do not be confused while reading.

WHY?

I look at your dark melanined skin. What beauty I see! Why is it that when I look at your bright glowing eyes, there’s this way I feel

Why is that your lips are so soft, round and pink?
Why do I admire your chubby, soft cheeks?
Why is It that when I gaze at you, I’m drawn to your dark glowing skin?
Why do you enchant me with your melanin?
And yet when they look at you they hiss and call you black!
And you call yourself ugly!

Why?

No! I only see raw golden melanin.
And my wish is to see a perfect, satisfied smile from your heart and that almost always Frowny face.

Dearie, Why am I so happy around you?
I Feel that crazy and childish self with you.
Why? Without you, I feel bored, sad and empty but what do I do?
Why does it feel that we are one?
Beyond friends, there’s that crazy bond
Why does to genuine smile come to my face whenever I see you?
Hmm, you make me feel crazy!

Why?

Hmm! Why!! Why do you distract me but I’m distracted without you?
I spend most hours of my day thinking about you and you don’t even know.
Why do I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I feel your presence?
Why do I out on the biggest smile whenever I feel your presence?
How did I get charmed!?
But with all these feelings, I’m still confused.
It seems you are hiding behind the Emojis
Today we are friends, tomorrow we might be more and the next day we are strangers!
Stop turning my head around.
Let’s go straight to the point. Stop beating about the bush.
Stop it!
But Why do I Feel like this?
Why?

Waiting

Our love wasn’t so easy anymore It was becoming harder to love each other Our flaws couldn’t be hidden any longer Our differences were too different Our imperfections weren’t so perfect anymore We weren’t so perfect anymore.

We had to talk about it About the monster in the mess that was our relationship, But because it wasn’t the right time, We had a lot going on, We had our hands full, our plates overflowing Because you said it wasn’t the right time You said we had to wait, So I waited.

Waiting was a b*tch, It gave me an itchy feeling, a feeling that was at the base of my spine.

Doing routine things like the dishes, It was there, just right there.

Always perfect in it’s timing. Waiting pensively, dreading it with every fiber of my being The pressure in my shoulders a weight too heavy to bear.

I was waiting for the time, The day of reckoning.   And as your shadow fell over me, I knew the time had come. The waiting was over.

The Awakening

Handshake, When it exceeds the elbows becomes a brawl.  Life quakes in different directions,  quite interesting a lot and a few tragic.

Discomforts Earthen barriers barricaded by unpleasant situations.  Lying forlorn is depression sacked in sorrowful tears,  agonizing lost, hurts, loneliness and wishful death.

Antique the mother of art has erected a statute confused for a piece of art work,  incoherently the message is passed to those daring the unimaginable. Though guilty be the pleasure but mundane things are no exception.

‘Growl’ for the image takers has stolen the destiny of an unborn,  wizardry they call it, forces left to no right damaging and demanding demeaning lifestyle. Jupiter describing it’s form terms it terrestrial, unique and unequaled, panelling Mars as the secret doorways to human light. Forms,  likes,  kinds are exemplary figures of speech describing a being .

Exhume the fossils let the CHI describe the direction from where the sun has gone pale.  Mother earth cries for the wrongs done the rights,  for many rights has visited her abode while the wrongs still thrives in redundant layouts of committing evil unabatedly.

Sound the gongs,  make it louder for the foes of the earth must Harken to the voice of liberty and domination by the essence and true beings of the most high, let every man who rejects the truth perish in inferno for the crusaders of Christ has risen to take over their inheritance.
