β€’ JEREMY β€’

It felt as if my heart had been pierced with a sharp knife as Leah said those words to me.

She already ended our one week relationship which was going on perfectly, not until Jason decided to ruin it.

I wiped my tears and shook my head sadly as I watched Leah run out of the garden in tears.

She didn’t even spare me a quick or side glance.

It hurts.

What did I ever do to Jason for him to repay me like this? What bad have I ever done to him to deserve this from him?

Even when he had sex with my ex behind my back, I still forgave him.

And now this?

He has finally succeeded in causing a rift between us.

~ JASON ~

“Hello Jas,” Charlene voice came up on the phone. I could sense a bit of panic in her voice.

“Hi babe. Wassup?” I smiled lightly.

“Jason, I’m in a deep trouble!” She whispered and sniffed in sadly.

I creased my eyebrows and asked, “what is it? What happened?”

“I’m pregnant Jason!” She groaned and I could tell she was already in tears by the way she sounded.

“What? For who?” I asked, shockingly.

I suddenly became tensed and I was starting to perspire even under the air conditioner.

“You are responsible Jason. We had sex at the camp multiple times and you didn’t use a condom and I didn’t take an after pill too.

So, that was how it happened. My mom is terribly angry,” she cried out.

“What? Me? You must be joking Charlene! I can never be the father of that bastard.

How can you be sure I’m responsible when you’ve been sleeping around with others?” I yelled angrily and touched my forehead.

“I haven’t slept with anyone after the camp. You are the one that has slept with me countless times and I know you’re the father,” she yelled angrily.

“Really?” I scoffed and ran my hand through my hair.

“I’m not gonna accept that stupid thing you’re carrying. You better go and terminate it.

Don’t you ever call me again if you don’t want to loose your miserable life!” I snapped fiercely.

“Jason, you can’t do this to me!” She cried.

I ended the call and angrily smashed my phone on the wall.

“Noooooo!” I yelled angrily and kicked the wall.

I don’t want to be a a father
at such a young age and not from someone like Charlene.

Jeez! I should have used condoms but I was too foolish.

β€’ PAISLEYβ€’

“Paisley dear. What is it? Talk to me, am your mother,” mom said softly and turned to look at me.

I sniffed in and wiped my tears.

I cleared my throat and explained everything to her amidst tears.

It still hurts!

“You have to hear him out my dear. In a relationship, trust matters a lot.

You have to let him explain himself. Give him listening ears and fix your relationship before it’s too late,” mom advised soothingly and patted my back.

I nodded my head and hugged her tight.

“Thank you mom. I love you,” I cooed softly and hugged her.

“You welcome and I love you too.”

As I and Jeremy stood on the field and just staring around, I felt so nervous.

“Okay, I’m ready to listen to you,” I spoke at last and turned to face him.

“Let’s go over there and seat, then I’ll tell you everything,” he replied and gestured his hand to a long bench at the side of the field.

I nodded my head and we both walked together to the bench.

After he had explained everything to me, I clearly understood him. I didn’t know I was crying till I felt liquid dropping on my palm.

I wiped my tears and hugged him tightly.

“I’m sorry Jer,” I sniffed in.

“It’s okay. I’m sorry too,” he said and patted my hair.

“So, is there anything else I should know? Is there something I don’t know and I need to know?” I asked and stared at him.

“Nothing. I ain’t hiding anything from you. And I promise that from today onwards, I ain’t gonna hide anything from you,” he smiled with all sincerity.

I nodded my head and pecked his cheek.

“I believe you. And I ain’t gonna hide anything from you too. And I promise to listen to you before jumping into conclusion or staying mad at you.”

“So, are we like still dating now?” He asked uncertainly and I could tell he was damn nervous.

“Of course we are,” I replied cheerfully.

“I love you.”

“I love you too.”

“You useless boy!” A woman suddenly walked into the class and gripped Jason by the neck.

The class was already rowdy and there wasn’t any teacher in the class.

“Who are you? What do you mean? I don’t even know you,” Jason groaned as he tried to free himself from the woman’s grip.

“You got my daughter Charlene pregnant and you denied it! You even told her to terminate it.

And she foolishly did it! Now, she’s in coma because she almost died of abortion!” The woman rasped angrily and hit Jason repeatedly on the face.

“What?” The whole class gasped shockingly while Jeremy was too stunned.

He just stared at Jason pitifully.

Finally, a teacher walked into the classroom and ended whatever that was gonna happen.

It was just too shocking.

The school authorities settled the matter amicably but according what I heard, Charlene’s mother said she was gonna sue Jason to court.

Throughout that day at school, Jason was the topic of the school.

He was ashamed that he couldn’t even say a word or stare at anyone.

He was embarrassed that he couldn’t even say a word throughout that day.

A week after, our principal announced that Charlene was out of coma and she’s fine.

Her mother already took her out of the country to start afresh.

Even if we were never on good terms, I was still happy she survived. Thank goodness, she didn’t die.

As for Jason, the J4 guys cut off ties with him. And because of the embarrassment he was always receiving from the students and since none of the J4 guys wanted anything to do with him, he left the school.

Three days after he left, Jeremy told me that, he already left the country because of his parents.

His parents got to know and they had to take him away and out of the country.

I was happy because there wasn’t any obstacles again.

I hurriedly applied lip gloss on my lips and carried my black purse and scurried out of my room.

I and Jeremy have a date today and I’m already a minute late.
It’s actually a dinner date.

I kissed mom goodbye and ran out of the house.

I slide in the back seat of my new masarrati car while my chaffeur closed the door.

Few months ago, we wrote our final exams.

A month ago, Jeremy, Daisy and I got admission into the same university.

I was really so happy. A week ago, I and Daisy already went out to celebrate our victory and so today, I and Jeremy are about to celebrate ours.

As a gift for gaining admission into one of the most prestigious university, my dad got me a new car.

A brand new masarrati car.

Gosh! I was so damn happy.

While mom bought me a new expensive phone and laptop.

I couldn’t thank them enough.

I was really so damn happy.

My chaffeur pulled over in the parking lots of a fancy restaurant.

I alighted and walked majestically into the restaurant.

I smiled broadly as I sighted Jeremy.

I walked up to him and we both shared a brief kiss before we both sat down.

“Hi,” Jeremy smiled as we both sat down.

“Hey,” I smiled lightly and tucked in loose strands of my hair behind my ear.

We ordered our meal and drinks. As we ate dinner, we chatted happily.

It was more like a dinner date.

Truth be told, Jeremy and I relationship has been going on smoothly.

He’s a very sweet boyfriend and I’m happy we got to date.

We’ve really being happy together and we trust each other alot.

I on the other hand, try my possible best to be the best girlfriend for him.

We both clicked our glasses of wine together and congratulated ourselves for gaining admission into the university.

Jeez! I’m so damn happy.
In two weeks time, Daisy, Jeremy and I would be going to the university.

Jeremy took me to the top building of the restaurant and I was awed and bedazzled by the beauty.

It was high and it felt as if I could see the whole world from there.

It was a little bit dark but the street lights stood tall and shone brightly around.

It looked so beautiful and magical.

“Do you like it?” Jeremy asked sweetly and wrapped his arms around me from behind.

“Like? I don’t like it, I love it!” I smiled sweetly and turned around to face him.

“I know you would,” he smiled and wrapped his hand tightly around my waist.

“You look so breathtaking tonight and I couldn’t take my eyes off you during dinner,” Jeremy drawled seductively and winked at me.

He bite his bottom lip and stared intently at me.

My face heat up and I know I’m already blushing.

“Awwwn. Thank you. You don’t look bad yourself.

And you look cute and absolutely breathtaking,” I said and wrapped my hands around his neck and smiled sweetly at him.

“I’m glad we’ll be going to the same university,” Jeremy smiled.

“Me too. I’m glad.”

He pulled me closer and tucked in a loose strand of my hair.

“I’m so lucky to have you. You’ve been the best thing that has ever happened to me,” he smiled sweetly.

I just smiled and nodded my head, not knowing exactly what to say. I was too shy to even say anything.

He tilted his head forward while I closed my eyes.

He placed his lips on mine while I patted my lips, giving him entrance.

He kissed me while I reciprocated the kiss.

The kiss was so passionate and intense that I wanted more of it.

As the kiss deepened and became more hotter, I drew closer to him and held unto his denim jacket tightly.

“I love you,” he said in between the kiss.

“And I love you too,” I replied and we both deepened the kiss.
