💅 THE BET 🎗️

{ 💏 He Has To Win! 💘 }

👫 Game on! 💏

After the incident of Paisley being sick, she was absent from school for two days.

Guess she went to properly treat herself.

On the third day, she came to school looking healthy as usual.

I felt a tingling sensation as I saw her walk into the school compound.

For the two days she had been absent, I really missed her presence in the classroom.

I and my friends deemed it fit and necessary, to always attend classes, even if the teacher is boring.
Or we aren’t interested in the subject or topic.

It was all my idea, I just wanted to make sure I get to see her face every second in class.

The more I think about it, the more I get to know that she’s a very beautiful girl with good body figure.

Staring at her all day, I get to take notice of her body.

Slender, tall, long brown hair and cute baby face.

She’s almost perfect.
Her smile alone can soften the most hardest man’s heart.

She’s really been smiling alot towards Daisy. They’re really damn close.

Sometimes, I feel really confusing jealous anytime I see her laugh heartily to Daisy.

I just want her to smile and laugh with me the way she does to Daisy.
But it seems impossible.

But then again, I didn’t forget I have a bet to win and I must win.

I have to win.

I stared intently at her, as I watched her and Daisy talk and hugged each other.

I want to be hugged that way too.

I need her affection too.

She turned towards my direction and caught me staring at her. She gave me a long stare before taking her gaze back to Daisy.

I shook my head vigorously, removing every thought about her as I focus on the book I was reading.

These few days, she has occupied my mind.

I just need tactics to make her friends with me.

I was absent from school for two days so as to properly treat my fever.

I was really very down and I hated the fact that I had to be hospitalized.

I even hated it more when I couldn’t go to school.

Gosh! The fever really brought me down.

But thankfully, I’m healthy now but I have a lot of catching up to do.

I caught Jeremy so lost staring intently at me like it’s his first time seeing me.

I gave him a long stare before averting my gaze to Daisy.

What’s up with him anyways?

During lunch break, Jeremy surprisingly came to seat with I and Daisy on our table.

He was sitting beside me. The students in the cafeteria started murmuring and staring towards my direction.

I huffed and stared back at my food.

Jeremy surprisingly also ordered the same snack as mine.

Hamburger, cheese and coke.

“Can you please just leave? I don’t like the way the students are staring awkwardly at me and some are even staring daggers.” I grumbled lightly as he ate from his cheese.

“But I don’t want to. They can gossip for all I care.” He smiled cheesily.

“Oh really?” I asked with my hands akimbo.

“You’re a playboy and everybody knows that. You already have an award in flirting with girls.

And award too in being a playboy. But me, I don’t have an award of ever dating popular guys in school.

And please, I don’t want anything that would ruin my reputation.” I said harshly and rolled my eyes.

He grinned and stared at me.

“You should feel special that almighty Jeremy is sitting with you and eating the same lunch as you.” He spoke with pride.

“Humph!” I scoffed irritably.

“Daisy, let’s go.”

I pulled her up and we both carried our tray of food and left the table.

We found a seat at another end of the cafeteria and we both sat down.

“Seems like Jeremy is trying to be friends with you.” Daisy teased with a cheeky grin.

“Really?” I scoffed.

“Then, I don’t want his fucking friendship. To hell with him and his friendship.” I snapped.

She chuckled and stared at me with a smile.

We continued eating not minding the students murmurings.

Friday came and we were to have sports that morning.

It was a baton race between two groups.

A girl and boy were to be paired as partners.

And coincidentally, I and Jeremy were paired up together.

I grumbled angrily as we walked to meet each other.

He was just grinning widely like a fool.

I scoffed and turned my gaze away from him.

After the race which I and Jeremy emerged second position, we both went to seat under a shade to rest.

He drank from his water bottle and I was seriously tasty.

And I don’t even have my water bottle with me.

And taking the distance to my class, I was already too tired. I might just pass out on the field.

And Daisy? I don’t even know where she is.

I stared intently at him as he drank from his water bottle.

Jeez! I wanted to drink too.
Shifting my ego aside, I decided to ask him for some.

“Hey Jeremy!” I called with a friendly faux smile.

“Yeah.” He answered and smacked his lips tentatively.

Jeez! He looked so cute, dreamy and adorable.

Sweats trickled down his face while his lips became more pink.

I didn’t know I was drooling too much, until I felt a light tap on my shoulders.

I came out from my drooling mood and stared shyly at him.

“Done checking me out and eye raping me?” He smirked.

I rolled my eyes and glared at him.

“You wish.” I muttered lowly.

He stared suspiciously at me but I was quick to cover with a smile.

“Can I have some water?” I asked politely as I could.

“No.” He replied bluntly with a smirk.

“Jer please. I’m really tasty.” I pouted sadly.

God! My throat felt as if it would split up if I don’t drink water.

That’s how tasty I was.

My throat was literally so dried that even a tiny drop of saliva can’t come out.

And I was too tired to walk all the way from the field to the classroom and I’ll still have to climb the stairs.

“Jeremy please, don’t be mean.” I begged calmly.

“Do you really need the water so badly?” He asked with a smirk.

“Yes,” I nodded my head positively.

“I’ll give it to you only if you agree to be friends with me.” He said, leaving me so surprised and throwing me off balance.

I wasn’t expecting such task from him.

“C’mon Leah, I mean no harm. I just wanna be friends with you.

I promise, I won’t cross my boundaries as a friend.” He added, looking all serious.

But then again, I have no choice. I needed the water so badly.

“Yeah. I agree.” I retorted impatiently.

“So friends?” He asked with a cheeky grin.

“Friends.” I replied.

Then, we shook our hands.

He gave me the water bottle and I forcefully grabbed it from him, feeling so impatient.

I uncapped it and drank hungrily from the water.

I didn’t even know when I emptied the water bottle.

“Haaa!” I breathed out in relieve.

I can’t believe because of this water that I agreed to be friends with Jeremy.

Being very tasty is very evil..

From today onward, I will carry my water bottle anywhere I go even if it’s in the restroom.

I can’t afford being tasty again……..

So because of water now, Leah and Jeremy are friends?😂😂…

Let’s see how this friendship goes 😛..
